Bottle Cottage was a bungalow, built facing the Main Road, Lacey Green, attached to the back of Plum Tree Cottages to the south and attached to 'Margene' Cottage to the north.

Bottle Cottage, Main Road, Lacey Green. Edward Lewis born 1877 newsagent, and Ruth E Lewis, born 1891, wife. (Ruth was the widow of Walt Ginger, see Walt & Ruth Ginger) Research Note. Edward Lewis died 1953

Margene, Main Road, Lacey Green. Frederick Rupert Ginger, born 1916 chairmaker and his wife Marjorie (Madge) Irene Ginger, nee Austin. Frederick Rupert Ginger was the son of Walt & Ruth Ginger. Ruth remarried to Edward Lewis and in 1939 is living next door in Bottle Cottage.

Ashlea. Main Road, Lacey Green. Ernest Oakford born 1911, chairmaker, and his wife, Rosalind Sophia Oakford, born 1913. Rosalind Sophia was the daughter of Walt & Ruth Ginger. Ruth remarried to Edward Lewis and in 1939 is living almost opposite in Bottle Cottage. click Hobbs & Rosalind Oakford
