Sale 18th January 1898 Sale of 6 poles of ground to Simeon Hickman from Dan Janes.

Schedule. 6 poles of ground adjoining the garden of Simeon Hickman, sawyer, Lacey Green, previously belonging to Dan Janes, recently occupied by Maria Janes, adjacent to Simeon Hickmans garden on the north, on the east by the highroad (Main Road), on the south by cottages belonging to Mr. Alfred Ward of Loosley Row, on the East by land in the occupation of Mr Peter Floyd.

Ashlea was built on the site of 6 poles of ground

Ashlea was built on the west side of the Main Road, Lacey Green, next to the turning into Westlands Road.
