1979 Death of Rosalind Oakford. The following tribute by from The 81st Club was published in Hallmark :-

It was a great shock to us all to hear of the death of one of our younger members so suddenly, just before Christmas. Most people in the district will have known Mrs Rosalind Oakford, as she and her husband carried on the paper business for many years and performed many kindnesses for people in outlying places. Her people were natives of Lacey Green and she was born here and went to the local school.

Our deepest sympathy goes to her husband and family, of which she was so proud.
