William Floyd born 1718 was the son of Joseph & Elinor Floyd. He was a brickmaker and yeoman, living in Lacey Green.

William married about 1743/5.

William and his wife had the following children :-

William Floyd born 1745 married Eliza Stone in 1788. William inherited £60 from his father and was made trustee of his brother John's Children

John Floyd born 1749 married Sarah Janes in 1792. John died in 1800

Elizabeth Floyd, twin, born 1751, died 1753

Eleanor Floyd , twin, born 1751, died 1755.

Mary Stone born 1757 married Francis Stone in 1773.
