Joseph Floyd born 1690 was the son of Joseph Floyd and ? Both father and son were brickmakers. Joseph, the son, is recorded as living in Lacey Green.

Ellinor 'Ellen' Free was born in the Parish of Hughenden

Joseph and Ellen married in 1710

Research note. In 1723 a Joseph Floyd of Lacey Green took the Oath of Allegiance to King George I.

Joseph died in 1756. His will, made in 1745 was as follows :-

To my wife Ellinor my freehold cottage and appurtenances at Loosley Row. Also my freehold land in the Parish Fields of Loosley Row, half acre arable in Dorrian Field called Marriage Furlong, adjoining Mr Shadd's land on the southwest, shooting down to Dispute Hedge. Also my copyhold lands in Princes Risborough. All to Ellinor for her lifetime then to son William. Proved by William 1758.
