Arthur Walter Ginger known as 'Walt' born 1891 was the son of George & Clara Ginger.
Ruth Elizabeth Darvill born 1891 was the daughter of Benjamin & Eva Darvill Benjamin Darvill & Eva, nee Janes
Walt and Ruth married in 1912
They lived in a cottage at Idle Corner, Lacey Green. In 1911 census Walter is listed as an agricultural labourer.
Arthur Walter Ginger was reported 'Killed in Action' in Flanders, France. on 29th September 1917, aged 26. He was a private in the Ox & Bucks Light Infantry, 5th battallion. Memorial. Bethleen Farm West Cemetery, Messen, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. Grave D.22
