Death. Clara Gladys died 18th December 1988 at 'Edgerley', Loosley Hill Road (The house next door to 'Clarensted'.)

Obituary notice in Hallmark - Sadly, in Mrs Clara Stevens, the Chapel has lost another member. Clara attended Sunday Schho as a child and from the age of fourteen played the piano and the organ. She regularly attended services and events, gently encouraging members and welcoming visitors in her own inimitable way.
