Frederick James Stevens born 1890 was the son of Edwin & Clara Stevens
Rosa Janes born 7th July 1890 at Coombs, Loosley Row, was the daughter of Horace & Agnes Mary Janes
Frederick James Stevens and Rosa had two children as follows ---
Clara Gladys Stevens born 4th April 1913 married Albert Edgar Stevens in ? click Albert & Clara Stevens for their life story
Alfred Stevens born 31st August 1914 married Constance Lacey. click Alfred & Connie Stevens for their story.
Frederick James Stevens died 4th October 1918 WW1. He was a private in the 2nd Battalion, Royal Munster Fusiliers.

Note. It was ironic that Rosa and the children later lived in Prospect Cottage, Loosley Row, seeing Frederick was buried at Prospect Hill.
Rosa Stevens widow. Rosa was left a widow with two young children -- Clara Gladys Stevens born 1913 and Alfred Stevens 31st August 1914. (note. Rosa's husband Frederick died only 34 days after Alfred's birth)
2nd Marriage. Rosa remarried in April 1926 to Thomas Jos. Oakford. In the 1939 Register Rosa and Thomas are recorded living at 2 Prospect Cottage, Loosley Row with Alfred Stevens, single, a carpenter, Rosa's son by her first marriage. see Thomas & Rosa Oakford
Death. Clara Gladys died 18th December 1988 at 'Edgerley', Loosley Hill (The house next door to 'Clarensted'.)
