Research note by Dennis Claydon. When she was 21 years old and still single, Miss Caroline Janes, daughter of John and Elizabeth Janes of Highwood Bottom sold on November 19th 1880, to Moses Tomkins, as trustee of the Methodist Chapel, Lacey Green, land on which to build a Schoolroom.

Boaz and Caroline were married in 1886. They were both G G grandchildren of Jacob Janes born 1715.

Boaz and Caroline lived at Sunnybank, Highwood Bottom.

Boaz and Caroline had 6 children as follows :-
