Archibald 'Arch' Owen Janes born 1891 in Highwood Bottom was the son of Boaz & Caroline Janes
Elsie May Plumridge born1891 was the daughter of William & Eliza Plumridge
Arch and Elsie married in 1925.
Archie had previously married in 1919 to Emily Beatrice Currell, daughter of Free Currell. They had no children.
Elsie had previously been engaged to John Rixon of Speen. John Rixon was killed in August 1918 fighting Austrians in the Italian Dolomites (Taken from the Speen and North Dean News, issue 57).
Archie had served in the Warwickshire Regiment.
Archie & Elsie had no children Arch and Elsie were both in the Speen Band. Elsie was the cellist.
