'The Elms', Foundry Lane, Loosley Row.
The Elms was the east half of a semi-detached pair of cottages in Keap Lane. The west half was called Keap Cottage. They were built in 1933/4 by Albert & Fanny Kirby. Hickman was the builder. Fanny's sister Alice Gomme and her husband Rupert lived in The Elms. click Rupert & Alice Gomme for their life story.

Auction Wednesday 16th October 1985 The Elms and Keap Cottage, Foundry Lane, Loosley Row on behalf of Messers Jack and Brian Kirby as a whole or in 2 lots.
Lot 2. (edged blue on the sale plan). The Elms, Foundry Lane is adjoining Keap Cottage (Lot 1) and is of similar construction. The garden enjoys the westerly views and leads down to adjoin open farmlands at the rear.
