Keap Cottage was the west half of a semi-detached pair of cottages in Keap Lane. The east half was called The Elms. In 1915 by Albert & Fanny Kirby moved into Keap Cottage when the married. Fanny's sister Alice Gomme and her husband Rupert lived in The Elms click Rupert & Alice Gomme for their life story.

Lot 1. KEAP COTTAGE, Foundry Lane, Loosley Row is one of a pair of Cottages which stand on the north side of the lane leading up from the main High Wycombe to Princes Risborough and Aylesbury Road (A4010) to the attractive village of Loosley Row. The property enjoys a superb outlook to the west and north over the adjoining farmland. Built as one of a pair with The Elms in 1931, the property has brick elevations to first floor level and roughcast above, under slated roof.
