In the 1901 census Horace,(brother of Maria) and Mary are living at Coombs in the family home at Coombs. Horace Janes 40 roadman, Mary Janes 38, John Janes 16 carter on farm, Rosa Janes 10, Alfred Janes 7, Edith Kate Janes 4.
