Marion reported that Dudley was born at Clarensted, Loosley Row. The family moved across the road to 'Edgerley' when Dudley was 2 weeks old

Death. Clara Gladys died 18th December 1988 at 'Edgerley', Loosley Hill (The house next door to 'Clarensted'.)

Obituary notice in Hallmark - Sadly, in Mrs Clara Stevens, the Chapel has lost another member. Clara attended Sunday Schho as a child and from the age of fourteen played the piano and the organ. She regularly attended services and events, gently encouraging members and welcoming visitors in her own inimitable way. Her devotion and presence will be greatly missed by us all and our deepest sympathy goes to Ted, Dudley and Marion (Dudley & Marion Stevens), Vanessa and Tim (Tim & Vanessa Colsell)
