This Indenture dated 24th September 1735 between Henry Penton of Lincoln Inn, Middlesex and Samuel Wade of Culverton, Princes Risborough.

Henry Penton (Lord of the Manor of Princes Risborough) let to Samuel Wade, yeoman, to farm the messuage at Lacey Green called Stocking with several fields of arable or pasture containing 60 acres. Also of Stocking Wood adjoining.

This messuage and land had been in the tenure of William Lacey and after him of Arthur ? Now in the possession of Samuel Wade.

Except for reserved for Henry Penton all timber trees standing, with free ingress for felling, cutting, topping and carrying away

Except also the messuage where John Snelling dwelt at Lacey Green. And also ? land lying between the messuage the messuage and wood called Stocking Wood -east of Stocking Wood, west and north to the land or west of Henry Penton's land called The Hillock of Lacey Green containing ? and also the Kiln for burning of bricks and tiles adjoining the same field or one of them on the east and south part. And on the west and north on the Hillock of Lacey Green.

To have and to hold the messuage and fields to Samuel Wade for 21 years paying yearly in half yearly installments, to Henry Penton or his agent at his mansion called Brookhouse in Princes Risborough.

It shall be allowed if Samuel Wade shall require rough timber from time to time to repair the buildings on the premises.

Samuel Wade nor his heirs shall cross crop the premises, which sal be sowed the precedent year, but shall refer to the same to ? and on sowed every third year.

For Henry Penton before the end of the 21 years to enter and have convenient lodging room and stable room on the premises for hs horses and teams, and also to .
