Edward Lester Janes born 1885 was the son of George Janes and Emma Lester See George & Emma Janes.

Lucy Burrows born 1888 in Loosley Row was the daughter of George Burrows and Julia, nee Ginger

Edward Lester Janes, born 1885, was the son of George Janes and Emma, nee Lester

Marriage. In 1907 Edward married Lucy Burrows, born 1888 in Loosley Row. They lived at Aveley Cottage, Speen. She was the daughter of George Burrows and Julia, nee Ginger.

Death of Edward Lester Janes.

Died April 1918. WW1 Somme. He was a private in the Royal Marines Light Infantry, 2nd Battalion.

His widow, Lucy, was left with 3 children aged 13, 6 and 2.

Harold George Janes born 1912 married Ivy Janes. See Harold & Ivy Janes

Harry Edward Janes born 1916 married Joan Margaret Jones from Shotton, Chester, in 1952. Harry was born in Speen. When married they lived in Greenlands, Lacey Green, later living in Chichester, West Sussex.
