1939 Register (census) Cedar Cottage Speen. Harold G Janes, born 1912 poultryman and gardener and Ivy E Janes born 1912.

December 6^th. 1946  Vine Cottage. Harry Floyd of Floyds Farm sold Vine Cottage to Harold George Janes :- Conveyance. Consisting of a piece land having a frontage to the road of 103 feet together with the messuage erected thereon, (Vine Cottage). The Janes family called the house 'Cliveden', not Vine Cottage. They did not stay there long, as their son, Roger, had asthma and the house was very damp. (this document is archived in Lacey Green Village Hall)

Greenlands no 12. Semi-detached house.   Mr. & Mrs. Ivy & Harold Janes and Roger.  (click Harold & Ivy Janes for more). Harold, Ivy and Roger moved into Greenlands when no 12 was new.

Hallmark October 1985. Local News. Triumph in the Wycombe District Council Tenants Garden Competition 1985. In the Over 65 Section Mr Janes of Greenlands no 12 was awarded 1st prize.

Ivy Ellen Janes died in 1995 in Princes Risborough.
