Floyds Farm had been bought privately from Harry Floyd in 1981 by R M West & Son click Floyds Farm for photos and history
The name was changed when the cottage and barn were sold off from the land by R M West & Son in
At first it was called Floyds Barn by Derek & Val Marchant
In Hallmark February 1987 a letter was addressed to the editor from Philip Rhodes of Floyds Farm Cottage, its new name. (click Philip & Mary Rhodes for more about Philip)
