Leonard Janes born 1877 in Lacey Green was the son of Abel George Janes and Ellen Stallwood. See George & Ellen Janes

Annie Harmon born in 1879 in Loosley Row was the daughter of William & Sarah Harmon

Leonard and Annie married in 1906

They lived in no. 3 Portobello Cottages. Main Road, Lacey Green.

Leonard was at first an agricultural labourer, later he worked for a builder and worked on the building of the T.B. Sanitorium on the Saunderton side of the hill. Ironically he was to die there.

Leonard Janes died in

Annie died 10th April 1962 at 12 Greenlands, Lacey Green. Her children Harold and Ivy were her executors.
