Rosa Stevens born 1890 was the widow of Frederick J Stevens, the daughter of Horace and Agnes Janes.

Thomas John Oakford 39 builders labourer, Rosa Oakford 49, Alfred Stevens 25 carpenter.
Research Note. It is ironic that Rosa and her children were living in "Prospect" Cottage, Loosley Row, as her 1st husband Frederick Stevens, killed in WW1, was buried at "Prospect" Hill. See Frederick James Stevens & Rosa Janes and Families with Fallen WW1
Rosa Stevens was left a widow with two young children -- Clara Gladys Stevens born 1913 and Alfred Stevens 31st August 1914
2nd Marriage. Rosa remarried in April 1926 to Thomas J Oakford. In the 1939 Register Rosa and Thomas are recorded living at 2 Prospect Cottage, Loosley Row with Alfred Stevens, single, a carpenter, Rosa's son by her first marriage
Clara Gladys Stevens, Rosa and Frederick's daughter, married Albert E Stevens. In the 1939 Register they are living in 'Clarensted', Loosley Hill, Loosley Row. Click Albert & Clara Stevens for their life story.
Death. Clara Gladys died 18th December 1988 at 'Edgerley', Loosley Hill (The house next door to 'Clarensted'.)
