Woodway Cottage.
11th June 1824. Edward Anderson of Darvills Hill, baker, leased from the Manor ground called "Collins" at Loosley Row of 1 acre, previously Thomas Barefoot's cottage with meadow/orchard of 2 acres and 3 closes of arable of 8 acres called Great Anthony. Little Anthony and Lower Baggs, now 1 close with 2 cottages on it built by Thomas Barefoot on Upper Woodway, Loosley Row in which Thomas Barefoot the younger and William Adams had dwelt. Also allotment in Middle Field of 2 roods, 13 poles
'Collins' was the name given to the house later known as Loosley House during its occupancy by the family of Sir George Stephen from circa 1829 to 1849, built on the 1 acre of land called 'Collins'.
