In Hallmark December 1982 Dudley Stevens the Baptist Sunday School Superintendent reported.- "There has been a Sunday School at Loosley Row in the present building since 1905, and probably the previous building built in 1862 held one.

At present we have 35 children with an age range of 2 to 12 years, with 4 teachers all at present preparing for the Nativity Play, which will take place on 19th December at 2.30 pm., to which we extend a very warm welcome to anyone wishing to join us. On this note, we would like to wish everyone a Peaceful and Blessed Christmas, and a Happy New Year."

A Plaque in the Chapel Read :- “Ernest Isaac Lacey, teacher, superintendent and choir master at Loosley Row Baptist Chapel 1895 – 1930. When Isaac resigned from his position at the chapel, his wife Lily had the plaque made and it was put up on the wall in the chapel. click Ernest Isaac & Lily Lacey for more about Ernest Isaac.

Research note. It was many years later that the chapel closed and was made into flats.  Learning of this, Isaac’s great grandson Trevor Stevens, went there and rescued the plaque for the family.
