Reg Hickman was born in 1906 in the 'Small House', Lower Road, Loosley Row.

Reg died in 1980. Ted Janes, editor of Hallmark wrote -

"Reg Hickman was a real native, born in the "Small House", Lower Road, Loosley Row, went to the Loosley Row School, that few people can remember much about today. On leaving school he went into the family business and with his father and later his brother, was responsible for building many of the houses in Loosley Row, Lacey Green and surrounding area.

During the war years he was a special constable as well as serving in the Auxillary Fire Service at Princes Risborough.

Interested in gardening and motoring, but like so many small businessmen he was dedicated to his trade of building, not retiring until 1978 at the age of 72.

Our sympathy goes to wife, Mary and children Jill, Betty and Allan
