George Cheshire was the son of John & Ann Cheshire

Sarah Steel was the daughter of John & Hannah Steel

George and Sarah married in 1865.

George and Sarah had 4 girls and 4 boys.

Annie Elizabeth Cheshire born 1866. She remained single.  She died in 1945 aged 89. She left £670, her executors being Margaret Millward and Dorothy Witcher

Susan Cheshire born 1869, married Jabez Smith in 1887. In 1911 they were living at the Whip. See Jabez & Susan Smith

John Steel Cheshire born 1871, died aged 9 months.

Sydney “John” Cheshire born 1871, married Jessie Attwell in 1901. See John & Jessie Cheshire.

Walter Cheshire born 1873, was a jobbing gardener, he moved to Bushey.
