Glenys is the daughter of Edward "Ted" and Monica Nicholls.

Research Note. Ted was born at Darvills Hill Farm which he inherited in 1952. For many yyears he was the farm manager for Ishbel Ridgley (Ishbel MacDonald) at Speen Farm. When the farm was sold in 1958 ? he bought all the live and deadstock and brought it Darvills Hill Farm
