They lived at Highwood Clearing. Thomas was a flint dealer.
At the Commutation of the Tithes Act in 1836 Thomas declared tithes on 5 acres 3 poles of land.
Thomas died prior to the census in 1841 when Elizabeth 50 is registered as a widow with their son John 19. See John & Elizabeth Janes
