Edward Lester Janes born 1885 was the son of George Janes and Emma Lester See George & Emma Janes.

Lucy Burrows born 1888 in Loosley Row was the daughter of George Burrows and Julia, nee Ginger

Edward Lester married Lucy in 1907. They lived at Aveley Cottage, Speen.

Edward Lester Janes died April 1918 in WW1 on the Somme. He was a private in the Royal Marines Light Infantry, 2nd Battalion. See Families with Fallen WW1 for others lost in WW1.
