Benjamin Dell born 1829 was the son of Jesse & Charlotte Dell of Speen

Ann Gomme born 1833 was the daughter of William and Sophia Gomme of Loosley Row

Benjamin and Ann married in 1857.

In the 1861 census they are living with Ann's parents, next to the Spratt public house in Loosley Row. Their daughter, Sarah, is then 10 years old.

By the 1871 they live in Darvills Hill where Benjamin was a chairmaker until he died in 1887, aged 58

Ann remarried Jonathan Janes in 1890. Jonathan was a sawyer, living in Lacey Green.

Ann died in 1909. Jonathan died in 1911.
