The property at Darvills Hill where John Darvill formerly dwelt and where Catherine Allnutt now dwells, together with the orchard and plots adjoining. Also the close of arable land adjoining to the orchard, known by the name of the Stone Croft containing four acres. To have and to hold by Catherine Allnutt for the term of one year, yielding at the end of the term to William Darvill the rent of one peppercorn (if the same shall be demanded). To the intent and purpose that by virtue of these present and by force of the statute made for transforming into possession, Catherine Allnutt may be in the actual possession of the premises so he may be thereby enabled to grant a release to her.
Note by Joan West Catherine Allnutt could not take full possession of Darvills Hill Farm until long standing legal situations had been understood. 14th JUNE 1859 ENFRANCHISEMENT THE LORD OF THE MANOR TO EDWARD ANDERSON
This Indenture made the 14th June 1859 between James Cudden Esq of Wimpole Street, Cavendish Square, Lord of the Manor of Princes Risborough and Edward Anderson of Darvills Hill, farmer, and James Stratton of Princes Risborough, gentleman (mortgagee).
James Cuddon and Edward Anderson have agreed the enfranchisement of the premises described in the first schedule below for £385, now paid to James Cuddon by Edward Anderson.
Also all other the copyhold hereditaments and premises (if any) still the property of the said EDWARD ANDERSON to which he was admitted on or about the 7th June 1824,the 15th May 1826,the 8th October 1839 and the 31st March 1845.

Also the several pieces of arable and pasture land, known as “Middle Close” “Barley Field” “Lane Close “Coppice” and “The Orchard”, situated at Darvills Hill, containing twenty one acres, which premises were formerly in the tenancies of Joseph Williams, Thomas Dell and since to Edward Anderson and to which premises Edward Anderson was admitted tenant on the 8th October day 1839.
Also two cottages and gardens formerly one farmhouse situate at Darvills Hill in the parish of Princes Risborough, formerly the tenancy of Thomas Dell or his undertenants.
Also the copyhold cottage at Darvills Hill where Dianna Buckingham formerly dwelt, then Jacob Dell.
Also the close or orchard adjoining containing two acres, formerly in the tenure of Thomas Dell.
Also all that meadow called “The Croft” at Darvills Hill containing one and a half acres, formerly in the tenure of William Floyd then of Thomas Dell and to which premises Edward Anderson was admitted tenant of the Manor 31st March 1845

30th June 1860. Conveyance between Mr Charles Brown of Stocken Farm, Lacey Green and Mr Edward Anderson, farmer of Darvills Hill for £55.

The freehold piece of land, containing 1 acre 1 rood and 36 poles, formerly part of a close at Darvills Hill containing 2 acres 31 perches and numbered 807 on the plan made in 1823 of the Princes Risborough enclosure awards, then allotted to Sarah Shard of Grymsdyke, but which piece of ground has been mounded off and divided from the remainder of the close.

It is agreed between the said parties that the Deeds should be held by Thomas Anderson. This indenture witnesses that Thomas Anderson and his assigns will upon every reasonable request in writing by Simeon Anderson and his assigns, show to him or them the Deeds for the support of the estate title and possession of Simeon Anderson or his assigns. And will at all times at the cost of Simeon Anderson or his assigns furnish him or them copies as attested or unattested of the same Deeds as he or they may require And will keep the same Deeds safe, uncancelled and undefaced unless prevented from so doing by fire or other inevitable accident.
