Moses Tomkins born 1820 was the son of William & Jane Tomkins
Moses Tomkins born 1820. In census 1841 & 51 Moses shoemaker, in census 1871 & 81 wheelwright.
In his history of the Methodist Chapel, Lacey Green Dennis Claydon wrote --- November 19th 1880 Conveyance. Miss Caroline Janes daughter of John & Elizabeth Janes of Highwood Bottom sold to Moses Tomkins, as trustee of the chapel, land on which to build a schoolroom. This was opened in 1886.
