Boaz Janes born 1862 was the son of Daniel Janes and Mary Maria Williams (widow)
Caroline Ruth Janes was the daughter of John & Elizabeth Janes
Boaz and Caroline were married in 1886. They lived at Sunnybank, Highwood Bottom. See White House Farm or Sunnybank
They had 6 children as follows :-
Mabel Rose Janes born September 1887. She was a teacher at Lacey Green School all her working life. She died August 1987, a few days short of 100 years old. She remained single. Go to Mabel Janes for her life story
Victor Ralph Janes born 1891 married Annie Anderson from North Dean. They adopted Pete Salmon, who became a baker in Speen
Cissy Florence Janes born married they lived near Reading
Archie Owen Janes born 1891 married Emily Beatrice Currell in 1918. His second marriage was to Elsie Plumridge. She played the cello in the Speen Band.
