When Ernest Isaac resigned from his positions at the chapel his wife Lily had the plaque made and it was put up on the wall in the chapel.

''editor's note.   It was many years later that the chapel closed and was made into flats.  Learning of this, Isaac’s great grandson Trevor Stevens, went there and rescued the plaque for the family.''

Isaac worked at a furniture factory in High Wycombe.  He was cycling home from work when he was hit by a motorbike near the railway bridge at Pictonville.    Isaac died from his injuries.   The motorbike was ridden by Bill Redrup, also a local man.
