John Hawes born 1778 in Hughenden was the son of Moses & Margaret Hawes
Hannah Parslow born 1784 was the daughter of Thomas & Sarah Parslow
John and Hannah married in 1801
Research Note. In1823 in the Enclosures of Princes Risborough John Hawes had old allotment no. 703, a freehold cottage and garden, on a track that later became Church Lane, Lacey Green.
Research Note. Lacey Green Church was not built until 1825 and the old cottage was later named 'Church Cottage')
1841 Census. John Hawes is recorded as a gardener.
