George Saunders born 1845 was the son of William and Louisa Saunders. Born at the Rose & Crown p.h. See William Saunders, born 1815 & Louisa, nee Lacey.
Sarah Ginger, born 1847 was the daughter of John & Celia Ginger, farmer of 2 acres and publican of the Black Horse p.h.
1871 Census. George 26, agricultural labourer for his father at Speen Farm
George and Sarah married in 1872.
1881 Census. George bailiff of Upper North Dean Farm, 130 acres employing 3 men.
William, George's father, died in 1889 at Speen Farm.
1891 Census. George and his brother Benjamin farmers at Speen Farm.
Benjamin, George's brother died in 1898 (suicide by hanging) at Speen Farm.
