Crown Cottage

From Lacey Green History

Crown Cottage is an old Cottage on Church Lane. It stood on the East Side of Park Cottage, with The Crown next on the east. When the Crown was pulled down a terrace of 3 cottages was built next to Crown Cottage. They were called Crown Cottage 1, Crown Cottage 2 and Crown Cottage 3

In the 1940s Harry & Priscilla Gomme lived in Crown Cottage

About 1993 Elizabeth Betts sold Crown Cottage (now listed) to the Buckinghamshire Housing Association.

District councillor Jean Gabbitas wrote in a report in Hallmark "Buckinghamshire Housing Association already has five cottages in Speen and one in Loosley Row for rental and so I was delighted to learn that Elizabeth Betts had decided to sell her listed cottage to the Buckinghamshire Housing Association for the use of the village.
