Added Notice in Hallmark in April 1980 by the editor
It's nice to see that some 18 months late we have a permanent reminder of the Silver Jubilee of H.M. Queen Elizabeth II, with the seats on the paved area around the Village Hall bus shelter. That the money left from the Jubilee Fund was not sufficient for this work and has been supplemented by a public benefactor we should give thanks, and also thank Mr Tong for the carving on both seats. But the best thank you we could give will be to use it, to use it properly, and please no vandalism.
