Joseph and Charlotte were married at Hughenden in 1846

Joseph and Charlotte had children as follows :-

Sophia Lacey born 1845

John Lacey born 1856

Census 1851. Charlotte is married living with her parents. Joseph is prisoner on the 'Breton', a hospital ship in Portsmouth Harbour.

Joseph Lacey died in 1861.

Census 1861. Charlotte is in Lacey Green with Sophia 7. John 4 and Fanny 2.

Census 1871. Charlotte is in Lacey Green with Sophia 17 and Fanny 12

Census 1881. Charlotte is in Lacey Green with Fanny Rixon and new born baby.

Charlotte died in 1888 aged 65.
