Abel and Caroline married in 1861

Abel and Caroline lived at Turnip End until 1881, then at the cottage in the road at Slough, Saunderton,near the Golden Cross pub.

Abel and Caroline had 12 children as follows :-

Alice Rixon born 1863 at Turnip End

Bertha Rixon born 1864 at Turnip End married Benjamin James Currell in 1893 at Kensington. Bertha died 1940 at Fulham, Mddx.

Kate Rixon born 1866 at Turnip End

Sarah Rixon born 1868. died 1871 aged 18 months.

Daniel Rixon born 1870 at Turnip End married Charlotte Allen in 1903 at Marlow. They lived in Marlow.

Rose Rixon born 1872 at Turnip End married Frederick W Hughes in 1897 at Islington

Agnes Rixon born 1874 at Turnip End married Arthur Daniel Mills in 1895 at Cookham. Lived in Maidenhead.

Albert Rixon born 1878 at Turnip End, married Kate Jones in 1904. Moved to Sunningdale.

Daisy Rixon born 1881 at Slough, nr. Saunderton station, died 1882 aged 1.

Lily Rixon born 1880 at Slough, Saunderton, married William Harmon in 1907. In 1911 Lily Harmon 32,married at Saunderton with son Harold Harmon aged 1 and mother Caroline Rixon.
