Walters Ash

Walters Ash is a village to the south of Lacey Green. A small part of it is in the Parish of Lacey Green, Loosley Row and Speen. The major part is in the Parish of Hughenden.

1921 On the far right the Brick & Stone works of Walters Ash FarmBottom left corner. These woods became the sight of Bomber Command built on 1939. The rest of the land is part of Speen Farm

To the east of the Main Road. Walters Ash Farm house and a few acres of land are in Lacey Green, the rest of the land in Hughenden. Bomber Command Headquarters and the officers' houses are in Lacey Green, lying on the west of the Main Road and are bordered on the south by the road to Bradenham
