Joan Vivienne Halliday was the daughter of

John Bernard Claydon reported at a school reunion in 2000 that :-

in 1951 John and his parents were living at Highlands, Main Road, LG. Head - Mrs Guerny. Vicar- Rev Steward. No uniform. Milk- Yes. My father George Lacey Claydon was at this school.

I attended Lacey Green School for a very short time as we moved to Speen. I enclose a school photo of my dad in a school play (the policeman) 1929 and my godfather Harold Williams is the lady sitting in front of him.
