William Dormer born 1797 was the son of Joseph & Mary Dormer

........1st marriage to Elizabeth Rippington in 1819. Elizabeth died in 1821.
........2nd marriage to Leah Grimsdale in 1822. 1 daughter Mary Dormer born 1806, died 1887. Leah died 1831.
.......3rd marriage to Mary Crook, widow. in 1832.
William and Mary (3rd marriage) had 5 children as follows :-
Roseanna Dormer born 1833 married John Lovegrove from Chalfont St Giles in 1854
Maria Dormer born 1837
Patience Dormer born 1840
Susannah Dormer born 1843 married George Gilkes from Parkfield in 1869.
Julianna Dormer born 1846, died 1875 aged 29.
