April 1982 Hallmark. The Mid-Week Whist Club reported :- Our Mini Whist Club continues to flourish and we now have our efforts in the Village Hall. We would be glad to welcome anyone who would like to join us. Every Wednesday fortnight at 2pm. We have given away to charity and locals over £140. This includes The Shrubbery, The Blind Institute and the churches, chapels and the Village Hall. So we enjoy ourselves and help others too.
