George Lacey Claydon born was the son of William & Lily Ruth Claydon.

Joan Vivienne Halliday was the daughter of Dr John Rutherford Halliday. (John Rutherford Halliday died in 1947. The vicar of Lacey Green Church, the Reverend Steward was assisted by F.D. Coggan, the Archbishop of Canterbury).

George and Vivienne had at least one child as follows. :-

John Bernard Claydon born ? reported at a school reunion in 2000 that :-

in 1951 John and his parents were living at Highlands, Main Road, LG. My father George Lacey Claydon was at this school.

I attended Lacey Green School for a very short time as we moved to Speen in 1952. I enclose a school photo of my dad in a school play (the policeman) 1929 and my godfather Harold Williams is the lady sitting in front of him.
