Daniel Westfield Ginger born 1832 was the son of William & Elizabeth Ginger, nee Westfield

Sophia Claydon was the daughter of Solomon Claydon and Mary Grange

Daniel and Sophia married in 1852.

He was an farm labourer and they lived in Smalldean Farm cottage, which was the original farm house, just inside the parish of Bradenham.

They had 9 children as follows :-
