June 1989. Village Day. Mr & Mrs John Hanna opened their garden at Mascoquin, Kiln Lane to the public from 2 - 5 pm
Hallmark October 1983. Excerpt from the Village Hall Diamond (60th) Jubillee report by Randall Evans as follows :- "A sub - committee of Lily Barber, Ted Janes, John Hanna and Ernie Anderson was appointed to come forward with ideas. They produced an excellent programme of events for the whole of September.
Hallmark March 1984. Excerpt from report by The Horticultural Society as follows :- "With new Secretary John Hanna, everything augurs well for the future, in conjunction with a good working committee."
