Windyridge was built on the west side of Mill Road (later, Main Road) Lacey Green.

In belonged to William Saunders in 1930 when William 'George' Luxford and Gladys, nee Ing (William's granddaughter), click William and Gladys Luxford moved in when they married. click William Saunders & Bethia Janes for the grandparents of Gladys

George and Gladys's son Alan built a bungalow called 'Westwinds' in the orchard of Windyridge.

Windyridge was a little old cottage pulled down in 1972. ??? Mybe rebuilt

Air Commodore Robert "Bob" Barcelon with wife Jackie and daughters, Nicola and Ray Louise, in 1977 rented ‘BywaysGoodacres Lane, Lacey Green.   Later purchasing ‘Windyridge’, Main Road, Lacey Green.

Nicola married Anthony Daly

In Hallmark 1982 Report in Hallmark September 1982. -"The tragic death of Lieutenant Anthony Daly, killed by an I.R.A. bomb in Hyde Park whilst leading his Household Cavalry Troop, shocked us and brought home to all in Lacey Green and Loosley Row the sick and dangerous society we live in. Tributes have been paid in National and local press, and we would only add the heartfelt sympathy of the village to Nichola and Group Captain and Mrs Barcilon."
