Windyridge

Windyridge was built on the west side of Mill Road (later, Main Road) Lacey Green.

In belonged to William Saunders in 1930 when William 'George' Luxford and Gladys, nee Ing (William's granddaughter), click William and Gladys Luxford moved in when they married. click William Saunders & Bethia Janes for the grandparents of Gladys

George and Gladys's son Alan built a bungalow called 'Westwinds' in the orchard of Windyridge.

Windyridge was a little old cottage pulled down in 1972. ??? Mybe rebuilt

Air Commodore Robert "Bob" Barcelon with wife Jackie and daughters, Nicola and Ray Louise, in 1977 rented ‘Byways’ Goodacres Lane, Lacey Green.   Later purchasing ‘Windyridge’, Main Road, Lacey Green.
