Frederick William Floyd, born 1871 was the son of Peter and Ann Floyd, of Floyds Farm, Lacey Green. See Peter and Ann Floyd
In 1905 he married Caroline Emma Saunders, known as "Carrie". See 1905 Marriage at Lacey Green for details of the ceremony. the guests and the presents.
Carrie born 1880 was the daughter William and Bethia Saunders. See William Saunders & Bethia Janes
Fred and Carrie lived at Pound Farm, Saunderton Lea, which was also farmed by Carrie's father, William.
Their son Harry George Floyd was born in 1906.
Carrie died in 1908 aged 28, when Harry was 2 yrs old.
Harry was brought up by his grandparents William and Bethia.
June 9th 1915 Sale by Auction. The executors of Thomas Dell of Parsonage Farm, Saunderton, sold properties in Lacey Green, passed down from Joshua Dell. see Joshua Dell, born 1757

Freehold accommodation at Lacey Green, comprising 4 rooms together with 6 acres of arable and grass land, barn, pig styes, stable, and hen houses, let to Mr Peter Floyd, an old standing tenant, at a rental of £15 per annum. Land tax of 12 shillings and eleven pence.
Researcher's Note. Peter Floyd, the tenant, was the father of Frederick William Floyd the purchaser.
Harry George Floyd inherited Floyds Farm on the death of his father Fred in 1939.
