George Burrows and Julia nee Ginger

George Burrows was the son of William and Elizabeth Burrows of Loosley Row. Julia Ginger was the daughter of George Ginger 1832-1895 and Mary Ann, nee Bearfoot 1835-1918. Julia's grandfather was the licensee of the Black Horse.

1887 Marriage. George Burrows and Julia Ginger were married in 1887. They lived in Loosley Row until 1911, when they are recorded at Flowers Bottom.

Children. They had 3 children, as follows -----

Lucy Burrows 1888- 1974 Married Edward Lester Janes in 1907. Died WW1, click Edward Lester Janes, also Families with Fallen WW1 for others lost WW1

Annie Burrows 1890-1929 (aged 39). Married Archibald Ridgley in 1918.

Harry Burrows 1893-1916. Died March 1916 WW1. Private Ox and Bucks Light Infantry, 9th Battalion. Taken to the Borough Isolation Hospital, Poole, Dorset, where he died. Buried, Longfleet, Dorset. Click Families with Fallen WW1 for others lost in WW1.
