Eli and Rose Rixon

Eli Herbert Rixon born 1850 was the son of William & Hannah Rixon.

Rose Dean born 1854 was the daughter of Edward & Eliza Dean

Eli Rixon and Rose Dean married in 1873. They were both members of large local families. They had thirteen children, losing one in WW1, (see further down).

Eli Herbert Rixon was the son of William Rixon 1813-1902 and Hannah, nee West 1813-1893 of Flowers Bottom

Rose Rixon, nee Dean was the daughter of Edward Dean 1827-1882 and Eliza, nee Chilton 1830-1886. Rose was the 3rd of their nine children. See below

Sarah Keziah Dean 1857-1893 married in 1875 to James Brown of Walters Ash, brickmaker.

George Dean 1860-1935 married in Caroline Glenister of Marlow. They lived in Marlow.

James Dean 1862-1903 married 1886 to Emily Bristow

Mary Ann Dean 1864-1923 married in 1885 to In 1911 publicans at the 'Live and Let Live Inn', booker, High Wycombe with their son Gilbert aged 15, who was born in New Jersey, USA.

Richard Dean 1867-1934 married in 1889 to Mary Bignall

Martha Dean 1869-1949 married Daniel Christopher Walker, carpenter. They lived in Marlow.
